The Trans-scan Optimus Prime is one of the coolest Prime toys around. You need to get
this item if you are a Transformer fan or collector. In this box comes 3 primes, a true bang
for your buck. This figure has alot of small parts that a child could choke on so this one is
better for the 10 yr olds and up.

First off I'm an adult so I was way excited to find an Optimus that could "transform" into all of the upgrades. Well it broke beyond repair as I took it out of the box. Broke beyond repair!?! Crap! Don't buy!!!

I had looking to get this figure for ages, the moment i picked it up i was blown away with the options of the "armor" whether in protoform or truck pieces. It's very intense figure for the size (between a scout and deluxe). The main thing that I have to complain about is the thigh/pelvis ball joint. It's not study and breaks as easy as an egg shell. I have fixed it but for anyone else that is looking into getting this be careful, I have read that this is a common issue.

This toy is a bit disappointing in how complicated it is to convert. Way too many steps and unclear pictures. The product says it's for 5 year olds. No way. My husband and I tried to do it and couldn't. A twenty year old friend had to do the conversion for my grandson and it took him an hour. My grandson played with it once, tried to convert it back, could not do it, and now it just sits in the toy basket. If I had known all this ahead of time I would never have ordered it.
