I am a collector of Gears of War stuff...so everything I own is Brand New, Never Opened. My friend has a couple of these and they are the most durable figures I have ever seen. Not a lot of articulation, but still cool! I have the entire Series 1 figures including the Comic-Con Exclusive Anthony Carmine figure. My opinion, if you are going to buy these, do NOT open them. They are more on the rare side of figures. Buy a Ninja Turtle at the store, but try and buy a Gears of War figure at the store...

This figure is just cool! Very detailed. I got it, along with the 15-inch Fenix for my son. I may have to keep it and put it on my shelf. Originally, I ordered this product expecting it to be the 15 inch figure, as it is advertised, only to get it and having it turn out to be the 7-inch figure. I wasn't very happy with this so I e-mailed the seller. I got a very fast response, they took the blame in not getting the ad straightened out, and gave me a prompt refund, PLUS, let me keep the figure! These figures from NECA are just plain realistic to the game.

NECA does a fantastic job with their figures, and so the high quality of their Gears of War Locust Sniper comes as no surprise. While there is no practical reason to collect these figures besides the "fun factor", that is good enough. A great job on a horrific character.

As a collector, I was very pleased with this item. No damage was done to the box or figure. There was no paint missing from the figure, no pieces out of place, and it was in the correct position within the box. An excellent quality figure and transaction.

I purchased most of the GOW figures for my 9yr old for Christmas. These are very durable and detailed, however there is very little articulation so the series of figures aren't exactly action figures but better suited for display. Not to mention I later found each of these figures much, much cheaper at my local Blockbuster video store.
