Awesome Lego SetJan 20, 2007
By Kurt Seifert This is an awesome lego set. I was excited when I got it and had a lot of fun putting it together. My only complaint is that the legs don't want to stay on. Plankton's lab is very neat and cool. SpongeBob is a decent size. Perfect price.

Great set!Feb 03, 2008
By Jesse Hughes This is a great set. Big! Lots of parts!
It looks like alot of people have problems with Spongebob's legs not staying on. Me, too. I'm thinking it's because once assembled, this set is just too big and heavy for the leg parts to hold.
Building is the main joy of this set. It takes a while, with so many Lego bricks.
If you want a Spongebob toy, you should probably buy something else. If you want an in-depth building experience, buy this!

Building a giant SpongeBobJan 18, 2008
By Tami My son LOVES this Lego set. It occupies him to no end (in connection with other Lego sets). He enjoys the creative expression he can have while using Lego's and this is great for him.
It stands about 12-16 inches tall once completed. I suppose with more yellow Lego's it could be even larger. The drawback is SpongeBob's eyes seem to fall out often.

good starter kit for 9 year old girlJan 07, 2008

i bought this lego kit for my 9 year old grandaughter. she would only call on me if she ran into a problem. she loved building it. she had a very good lesson in following directions. i give her a lot of credit because there are portions of the instuction manual that are very poor. the section on putting his shoes together required very close inspection with a flashlight to see various layers. regardless, she had a great time building it. i would recommend it to others.

Happy boyJan 15, 2007
By favorite auntie My 7 yr old nephew requested "Build-A-Bob" for Christmas. I had a hard time finding it in my local stores. I went to amazon.com, it was available, I ordered it, and my nephew was one happy little boy!! He had a huge smile on his face upon opening his gift and said "YES!"
