| | | Description: | | Simple kit of the Sword Strike Gundam featured in Gundam Seed. This low-priced kit lacks complete articulation like the more expensive HGUC and Master Grade kits, but it is still rather nicely detailed, and very easy to assemble. Has basic articulation at the hips and shoulders, and some slight movement at the ankles, keeping polycaps and pieces to a minimum. A great model for someone just starting out, or if you're looking for something to detail on your own as a static display piece. | | | Product Details: | | | Product Weight:

Sword Strike GundamAug 02, 2010

I don't remember much about this set. It was detailed but fragile. The items were pretty nifty but all in all, not a memorable set so I shall skip straight to the pors and cons.
PROS: Ginormous sword with mini blade on pommel. THis sword would attach on the backpack item upside down for storage Small dagger (called a boomerang If I remember correctly) would connect into the left shoulder armor for storage Armor parts were removable Shield had a grapple part on the front. (two separate pieces for the illusion) Blue armor could come off for a basic figure
CONS: Armor is fragile Needed a bit of painting Not an easy kit to store somewhere Not very many good poses

It's. okay...Jul 07, 2010
By Arkadiy Okay so I'll make this review short and sweet.
I am a Gundam collector. The problem with this one, it's made in 2003 and is a non-grade. It has little to no moving joints. About 3-4. The head is super loose, but it does stay in place. You cannot position this Gundam, or else the arms will fall off easily.
You see that shiny picture? Yeah, it's white + blue + baby blue. Those are the only colors in this kit.
The purpose of this Gundam is to paint/color them with Gundam paint or Gundam markers.
You want a cheap Gundam? Go for it. Will it last? Probably. Will you have fun building it? Er. So/So. Is it any good? Not really.
If you want to practice your painting on a higher end Gundam, go for it. That's why I bought it.
Get this for the Hg Strike GundamFeb 16, 2012
By Angel I wasn't impressed of this kit it only comes in three colors(White, Blue and Baby Blue + yellow only one piece though)has six points of articulation(head, legs, arms, waits) it comes with no stickers at all and the ball joints are soooo loose you try to pose it and the it pops/falls off. luckily seed destiny reedoms the 1/144 seed line.
Any way the reason they made these were to learn how to paint with gundam markers and to use the packs it comes to attach it with the Hg version of them
now if you add the sword pack to the HG strike it looks alright but you still got to paint the sword pack due to the lack of colors
armaments:
x1 sword(named an anti beam sword)
x1 pack(to hold the sword)
x1 beam boomerang + beam affect(baby blue)
x1 shoulder armor(for the right arm and to hold the boomerang handle)
x1 small shield + removable claw
*notes*
the entire sword pack is baby blue so you have to do a lot of painting
you can also add the sword pack the real grade version but it just doesn't work with the rg and you have to a lot of mods to the sword pack but if you have the patients for the rg sky grasper which comes with the sword and launcher packs which look alot nicer
overall this kit sucks but you learn how to use gundam markers and you can add the sword pack the Hg/Rg Strike. So buy it if you to make the HG/Rg sword strike gundam
